Replacement heads ARE expensive, but compared to dental visits and cavity repairs they're a drop in the proverbial bucket. The first few times you use an electric brush with these heads your mouth will likely feel as if it's all a-buzz. Don't panic and don't give up. Keep using the brush and it'll pass in few short days. My dentist praises my teeth now that I've been using this system for several years. My gums and teeth are cleaner, brighter, and cavity-free.

Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron
I have struggled to get the hang out of my cheap flat iron for my wedge/bob hairstlye. Well, struggle no more! this iron is awesome and fast. It beats the 'cheapies' hands down. I also like it because it is thin! I thought (in my ignorance) using a larger iron would be easier, but not so. Its much easier to use this one. Plus... It comes in a limited edition pink style if you like that sort of thing (which I do). I also love this iron because its really easy to curl the ends of your hair. Just twist and go.
Make sure to use some product to protect your hair and be careful with it! You can burn your ears, neck and hands -It's HOT!

Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron

How it works
The iron is rather heavy, has two flat tongs lined with a ceramic plate on each tong's inner surface. The unit stays open until you close it across a lock of hair. It plugs into the wall, heats up in about half a minute and gets QUITE warm, well, hot even. I prop mine on a towel to prevent burning the resin vanity surface. The iron is about one inch wide, slightly curved inside.
Unlike a curling iron made of metal, the ceramic surface straightens and somehow reduces static. And the smoothness, the glass-like surface slides across the hair, contacting each hair to make a shiny smooth finish.
How to Use
Turn on iron, let heat up. Now, take a comb and pull out a lock of hair and as you comb, run the iron behind it down the entire length of the hair. Try to get as close to the scalp as you can. Repeat this all over your head. If your hair is bushy, use hairdresser clips to section off the hair that's not being styled at the moment. This really helps.
